5 Minute NAAN Grill Pizza

I LOVE Indian food. I had a friend growing up who’s mom was an unbelievable cook. She was the kind of mom who was always ready to feed you and she introduced me to so many delicious things like butter chicken, paneer and naan.

Fast forward to years later when I had my own family to feed. Im always looking for quick, easy meals. I was at my local grocery store and came across a package of garlic naan bread. I bought it thinking I would try to make an Indian dish for my son but, then my husband had a craving for late night pizza and I thought what the hell? Slapped some sauce, cheese and fresh cut basil on them and threw them on the grill.

We both loved how they came out and now my son requests them on a weekly basis. We have made all different versions but the classic simple margarita is our classic week night go-to!

Heres what you need :

Naan Bread – I Love the Atoria’s Family Bakery Naan (I buy this at my local Lidl but also found it on amazon.) The original flavor is great but I do prefer the garlic for grill pizzas.

Rao’s (Or your favorite sauce) Roasted Garlic Sauce

This sauce has clean ingredients and is the yummiest sauce of all time if you ask me.

Buffalo Mozzarella

Fresh Basil

Salt + Pepper

DRIECTIONS

Start your grill on Medium- high heat and allow it to come to temperature.

Spoon your favorite sauce onto your naan and top with fresh mozzarella. Add some sea salt and fresh cracked pepper.

Place naan directly onto grille this will make for a nice crunchy bottom.

Allow to cook 5-7 minutes on medium heat.

Remove from grill and top with fresh cut basil. Maybe even a little parmesan and red pepper flakes and just like that dinner is served.

Look at that crunchy char!

I mean yeah, maybe not the most impressive and ground breaking meal, but easy and ready in under 10 minutes. My family LOVES these Naan pizzas and I think yours will too!
